N is a free platform game for the PC developed by Metanet Software and released in 2005. The game play style is similar to that of Lode Runner and is a side-scrolling platform game. In the game, players control N, a ninja who must run, jump and stop to avoid obstacles and make if from one side of screen to other to progress to the next level.

N Version 2.0 was released in 2013 and contains a total of 500 maps, 50 of which are user created maps selected by the game's developer. The game is available to play in the browser over at thewayoftheninja.org or it can be downloaded here for free. The next version of N, version 2.1 is still in development. In addition to N for the PC it is also available for Mac OS X and Linux operating systems. A commercial console release of N called N+ was released in 2008 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS systems.
